Loma B. Beaty was born September 19, 1925 at the Crossroads, and died September 25, 1988.  He married Helen Marie Webb December 27, 1945.  She was the daughter of  Verna Lee and Mammie Lois Carroll Webb.  Loma Beaty attended the University of the South Cadet Flight program, University of Georgia Flight School, and was a U. S. Navy pilot from 1943 to 1948.  He served in the reserves until 1969 at which time he retired at the rank of Commander.  He attended the University of Alabama School of Commerce, and the School of Law.  In 1953 he began a thirty-five career as an attorney, serving DeKalb County in various court positions, such as municipal court judge, special assistant attorney general State Highway Department, and deputy district attorney.

Harrell Hall was born William Harrell Hall on March 12, 1909 in Georgia. The son of Elder Thomas Sanford and Betulia Queen Lambert Hall.
