Sarah Beaty married Nathaniel Hamic August 9, 1883.  She was born December 6, 1857 in Georgia and died May 13, 1925. She was the daughter of Joseph Edward and Elizabeth Roseana Shirley Beaty. Nathaniel Hamic was born June 26, 1860 in Georgia and died January 13, 1930.  He was the son of  Joseph and Mary Ann Sandridge Hammock. 

The name Hamic is spelled many different ways in the U. S. Census.
