Angela, my mother was a Fowler. Her name is Flora Fowler Driskill. Her ancestors are originally from North Carolina. They moved from North Carolina to Dawson Co, Ga. They moved from Dawson County to Jackson County, Ala. 1800-1885. After my g-grandfather, Samuel Milton Fowler, died they moved to Dekalb County. Do you think there could be a connection between my ancestors and yours? Several members of our family have heard that we have Native American blood way back, but I don’t have anything to base that on. I will look forward to hearing from you.

Our Fowlers could very well be kinfolk.  I still haven't come up with much.  My G-g-grandmother was Mary Jane Fowler born abt 1878 in Hall, GA, who married Marion Isaac Elrod. Well, we will keep digging!
