William B. Campbell
Elaine Tinsley
I am searching for descendents of William B. Campbell (b. abt. 1891, Ala.) m. Della?. In 1920 census, they were in Vallley Head with his mother, Charity N. Martin Campbell (b. 1852, Ga.), listed as widow. Children listed were J. B. Campbell (b abt. 1914), James Campbell (b. abt. 1916), Eunice Campbell (b. abt. 1918). William’s brother, Hiram, and his family are listed in 1920 and 1930 census at Phillips, dekalb co, Ala. Other children of Charity and James Campbell were Lucy and Farlow. I would like any info on this family.

Re: William B. Campbell
Elaine, here is a very little information I found on Wm and family. There is a William A. Campbell married to Thressie Thomas annotated on the marriage index for DeKalb Co Al 1916 to 1920. CAMPBELL, WM. A. THOMAS, THRESSIE 2/4/17. But I am not sure this is the right William Campbell or how your would get Della from Thressie. I am looking for the buriel sites but have not found them yet. I think the transcription is wrong for Farlow, because his draft registration says he was born May 14 1888 in Valley Head, AL. There are many unmarked graves at Lower Sulphur Springs Cementery so it is possible that James and Charity are buried there. I will have to make a trip and check on that. No sign of where Wm or Della is buried. They all could be in Dade, Chattooga or Walker Co GA. Valley Head Cemetery, DeKalb, Alabama Campbell, Pauline b. Aug 6, 1920 d. Jul 31, 1924 d/o W.B. Re: John H Wright – Civil War Soldier grave Elaine Tinsley
Glenda, I am researching the Campbell family from Valley Head. Emina Wright (b abt 1896) married Hiram Campbell b 1894. Elmina (Mina) had a brother, John Henry Wright, b abt 1891. Their parents were Charlis and Safrona Wright. Their other children were Geover C, Willie, Ting G, and Annie. Could there be a connection between your John Henry Wright and Elmina Wright, who married Hiram Campbell? In 1910 census, Elmina and her family (parents and siblings) were in Valley Head, Precinct 11. I am trying to find descendents of Hiram and Elmina Wright Campbell, also descendents of William and Dilla (Dillie) Campbell.
